Supported, administered and maintained a Windows network with 1000 users running Windows NT, Windows 2000 Professional, Server, and Advanced Server.

Responsable for unattended installs of Windows 2000 on new servers builds.

Automated rollout of yearly Windows NT/2000 maintenance and software upgrades.

Installed and configured Windows 2000 Active Directory.

Configured and supported NT PDC / BDC,  Wins, DHCP,  RAS,  and VPN for remote access.

Upgraded 130 National Application Servers from Windows NT to Windows 2000.

Senior Performance Analyst

Identified discrepancies between capacity planning assumptions for the recovery of applications and actual contingency mainframe CPU configurations.  Improved LPAR sizing process by utilizing Lotus spreadsheets to combine actual resource consumption,  contingency processing requirements, future growth, and LPAR consolidation future moves.  Team was able to proactively change configurations in advance of the actual need for resources.

Migrated all mainframe LPARS to IBM's Workload Manager with no errors.

Developed automated SAS / MXG performance summarization process, providing extensive WEB-based drill-down capability, quickly identifying key performance issues for both MVS and distributed computing environments.

Automated the nightly execution of a variety of RMF reports allowing performance data to be readily available on SAR the day after it was collected.  This enhance the teams responsiveness to problem resolution by allowing tuners to simply view historical RMF data as opposed to setting up and executing a special job to produce the report during prime shift hours.

Received two cash awards for Service Excellence for assistnace in deploying and analyzing fixes received from IBM to resolve a encryption engine bottleneck and for resolving a recurring batch slowdown impacting a districts application.

Brought team peers up-to-date on a new process for managing mainframe resources through training sessions and the distribution of technical articles.

Increased batch thruput 20% via reduction in IPS complexity, while maintaining sub-second TSO response time.
